Scottish Ambulance Service - Road Safety Heroes
Scottish Ambulance Service Paramedic Louis Stankovic has more than 37 years' experience working all over Dumfries & Galloway.
He has attended numerous Road Traffic Collisions - ranging from minor accidents to fatal RTCs - alongside a varied amount of work over the last three decades.
Louis' 'Road Safety Hero' message is:
"Enjoy Dumfries & Galloway for all its scenic beauty and diversity, such as its coastal, villages, towns and the countryside, but keep yourself and others safe by following the Highway Code. Don't take unnecessary risks, drive to the road and weather conditions. Be aware of agricultural vehicles and animals in the countryside. Plan your journey ensure you have enough fuel, carry a first aid kit and have your mobile with you. In an emergency, keep yourself and others safe and call 999 for the Emergency Services. We all can play our part in being a Road Safety Hero."
